During that week, 10 of the best Spanish restaurants in London offered a Tapa and a drink at a fixed price, with plates that represented a wide range of regions from the country.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"  wp-image-5533 aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/spanishchamberofcommmerceingreatbritain.files.wordpress.com\/2017\/07\/banner_tapas-tour-e1499685776444.jpg\" alt=\"banner_tapas.tour\" width=\"565\" height=\"308\" \/><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=pitsrbL2vR8\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Arbina<\/a> Offered a \u201cTazacorte\u201d octopus ink tempura on a bed of Galician sand and planckton; <a href=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=lR3xidiT3zA\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Barrica<\/a>, Aubergine, jam\u00f3n &amp; manchego \u2018lasagne\u2019 with an almond vinaigrette; <a href=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=rJWs855zPoo\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Boquer\u00eda<\/a><strong>,<\/strong> Suckling pig, aubergine torrija, quince and blood orange; <a href=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=GTLEayNoYk8\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Brindisa<\/a>, smoked anchovies with mojo borage and crostini and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=v8_Y9vKQlY8\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Copita<\/a>, sardines &amp; beetroot \u2013 pickled egg with capers, membrillo &amp; a black olive puree.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=FPXZC6kkTu0\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Drakes Tabanco<\/a> offered presa ib\u00e9rica with Caf\u00e9 de Paris butter; <a href=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=qTdXXYWtkFM\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Ib\u00e9rica,<\/a> baby carrot tempura with homemade tartare sauce; <a href=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=VPYALLkcglk\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Hispania<\/a>, salmorejo with flavours of the sea; <a href=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=d-WRosgTaD0\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Sagardi<\/a>, \u2018Roxario\u2019 ciderhouse-style salted cod omelette, and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=ttYYfPPGMyA\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Tapas Revolution<\/a> offered ham croquettes.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"  wp-image-5590 aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/spanishchamberofcommmerceingreatbritain.files.wordpress.com\/2017\/07\/collage.jpg\" alt=\"collage\" width=\"451\" height=\"451\" \/><\/p>\n<p>During that week, more than 350 tapas were sold and the public could try real Spanish flavours and felt just as if they were in Spain. The Spanish Tapas Tour also had its own passport, where people got a stamp after tasting the tapa of each restaurant.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"  wp-image-5544 aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/spanishchamberofcommmerceingreatbritain.files.wordpress.com\/2017\/07\/pasaporte2.jpg\" alt=\"Pasaporte2\" width=\"451\" height=\"338\" \/><\/p>\n<p>The participants of the Spanish Tapas Tour had the chance to take part in two different contests. The first one gave them the opportunity to win a city break to Spain. They just\u00a0needed to sample at least 4 different tapas and choose their preferred one. A raffle took place among the eligible passports and a lucky winner will now travel to Spain. We would like to thank <strong>Iberia Express and NH Hotels<\/strong> for kindly providing the flights and the hotel stay for two people.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"  wp-image-5543 aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/spanishchamberofcommmerceingreatbritain.files.wordpress.com\/2017\/07\/nhgroup_pos_v_gris.png\" alt=\"NHgroup_POS_V_Gris\" width=\"306\" height=\"109\" \/><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter  wp-image-5541\" src=\"https:\/\/spanishchamberofcommmerceingreatbritain.files.wordpress.com\/2017\/07\/i2-logo-e1499680281742.jpg\" alt=\"I2 Logo\" width=\"527\" height=\"180\" \/>The most highly valued tapa from the public vote was the Tazacorte octopus from <strong>Arbina<\/strong>. We want to congratulate and thank them for their active involvement on this event.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"  wp-image-5571 aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/spanishchamberofcommmerceingreatbritain.files.wordpress.com\/2017\/07\/logo-arbina.png\" alt=\"Logo Arbina\" width=\"336\" height=\"133\" \/><\/p>\n<p>A second contest was held on Instagram. People should upload a picture of their tapa using the hashtag #SpanishTapasTour.
