On Wednesday 10th<\/sup>\u00a0May, we held the\u00a0 XXX edition<\/strong>\u00a0of our\u00a0Elevator Pitch networking event<\/strong>. On this occasion, the event took place at the premises of Mishcon de Reya, member of the Spanish Chamber, who kindly hosted our guests.<\/p>\n

The event was chaired by Igor Urra, Secretary General at the Spanish Chamber, who kicked off the proceedings of the event by explaining the dynamics of this activity to the participants.<\/p>\n

Our Secretary General, Igor Urra, chaired the event and explained the rules to the attendees.<\/p><\/div>\n

For those of you who are not familiar with the Elevator Pitch format, here are the basic rules to bear in mind:<\/p>\n

-Only one participant per company is allowed and there is a maximum of 16 companies taking part in each edition.<\/p>\n

-Up to two companies from the same sector can register for the event.<\/p>\n

-Each attendee has two minutes to explain the line of business and scope of the company he represents to the rest of participants.<\/p>\n

The reduced number of participants and the format makes this activity a highly interactive one, which aims at providing attendees with the opportunity to explore synergies and avenues of collaboration among them.<\/p>\n

After the round of introductions is over, each participant has an additional two-minute slot to reply to questions made by any of the other attendees. Once the question round is finished, participants can further network without the previous time restraints.<\/p>\n

On this occasion, a wide variety of sectors were represented among the 11 companies that were in attendance at this edition:\u00a0Mishcon de Reya\u00a0<\/a>(Legal Services),\u00a0Barclays<\/a> (Banking and Financial Services), Elastacloud Limited<\/a> (Communications, IT and Networks),\u00a0Global Reach Partners<\/a> (Foreign Exchange), Melia White House<\/a> (Hotel and Accommodation), The Mandeville Hotel<\/a> (Hotel and Accommodation), BIID (Communications, IT and Networks),\u00a0CDK Developments (Toys Manufacturer), Depinna Notaries (Notarial Services), IntelliQ (Business Consultancy Services) and Rochester PR Group (Public Relations).<\/p>\n\n
