On Wednesday 25th January, we had the pleasure of hosting the breakfast workshop\u00a0\u201cBeing at your best in 2017\u201d,\u00a0<\/strong>organised in collaboration with Paradox Partners, member of the Chamber.<\/p>\n

After a warm welcome to attendees, Cristina Carmona, our Head of External Relations and Communications, introduced the speaker: Mr Lloyd Wigglesworth from Paradox Partners.<\/a><\/p>\n

The session aimed at providing useful guidelines and tips for participants to be able to achieve not only their new year\u2019s resolutions, but also their overall ambitions both at professional and personal levels. By doing this, they would be ultimately able to be at their best during 2017 and onwards.<\/p>\n

To help everyone reach this stage, the speaker handed out a guide at the beginning of the event, which attendees would be following to complete different tasks. The first one consisted on setting a list of resolutions and goals, which paved the way for the rest of the activities to follow.<\/p>\n

As the speakers explained, reaching one\u2019s goals is not an easy task, especially when we have long-term plans that require taking one step at a time. For that reason, the next activity consisted on writing which habits each participant thought important and necessary to acquire in order to fulfil their previously set goals.<\/p>\n\n

As the event went on, the conversation shifted towards what blocks or enables attendees to be one step closer to reaching their objectives. Lloyd had then the opportunity to analyse in further detail what energy sources and leaks are involved in the process, thus helping or hindering the fulfilment of said objectives.<\/p>\n

Guided by the speaker from Paradox, who quickly connected with those present and engaged them in the different activities of the session, participants were then encouraged to share their thoughts on their resolutions and aspirations, potential challenges they usually face, and opportunities available to them. This contributed to create a communal atmosphere as everyone shared similar concerns and ambitions.<\/p>\n

Once the workshop had finished, there was time for networking, which provided a great opportunity to connect with fellow colleagues and members over breakfast.<\/p>\n
