He served as a second lieutenant and Instructor at the French Air Force Academy, earned an MBA from <strong>Columbia Business School<\/strong> in 1984 and a post-graduate degree from the <strong>Institute of Advanced Studies in National Defense<\/strong> (IHEDN) in Paris.<\/p>\n<p>He worked at Goldman Sachs in New York and London from 1984 to 1994, at Credit Suisse First Boston from 1994 to 1996 and he has held senior positions at Dresdner Kleinwort Benson from 1997 to 2000.<\/p>\n<p>From 2000 to 2008 he was a senior executive at Lehman Brothers and, most recently, CEO of the company in France.
