Although\u00a0the gloomy weather has taken over nothing can stop our busy calendar of events. The first activity will be the XVII<\/strong> edition of the Graduate European Programme, <\/strong>which offers university graduates the opportunity to undertake work experience in London<\/strong> during 6 months. The programme officially starts on 14th <\/sup> September with the Induction Week, <\/strong>when participants will attend different talks and visit various companies and institutions.<\/p>\n

On Wednesday 23rd <\/sup>September, it is time for a new edition of the popular International Wine and Spirits Tasting<\/strong> networking event. In this case, CODORNIU RAVENT\u00d3S<\/a>, <\/strong>Patron of the Chamber,<\/u> will be providing the Spanish wines. The event will be organised in collaboration with another 12 chambers of commerce in London so don’t miss this chance to enjoy a truly international evening and register right now! For those of you that have never attended, this event provides participants the opportunity to explore synergies among one another, but they only have 2 minutes each to introduce their companies. This is a way of exploring new avenues of collaboration and meet like-minded professionals. Click here<\/strong><\/a> for further information.<\/p>\n

But if you do not really like to network, a few days after, on the 13th<\/sup> October<\/strong>, in collaboration with AVOCETS CONSULTING<\/strong><\/a>, members of the chamber, we have the right event for you: Networking for people who don\u2019t like networking. <\/strong>This activity will improve your abilities to communicate with confidence when meeting someone new, create a presence, and most importantly it will give you useful tips to convert contacts into referrals. If networking gets too tiring and you need a relaxing, but also interesting afternoon, we have the perfect combination. Our Afternoon Tea<\/strong> in the luxurious BENTLEY HOTEL<\/a><\/strong>, member of the Spanish Chamber, will be on Monday 19th<\/sup> October. The event will be led by the expert in protocol Richard Birtchnell<\/strong>, Toastmaster and Past President of the prestigious Society of London Toastmasters, who will talk about the traditions and etiquette of the Afternoon Tea.
