This new organisation will replace the former Consejo Superior de C\u00e1maras de Comercio (Board of Governors) from 19th November.<\/p>\n Its main function will be the development of a plan for the internationalisation of the Chambers<\/strong>, which will be annually approved by the Ministry of Economy and Competitiveness as well as their new Competitiveness Plan<\/strong>.<\/p>\n Representatives of the different Spanish Chambers of Commerce abroad in the General Assembly of FEDECOM held in Madrid<\/p><\/div>\n Moreover, during the assembly membership was approved of the Spanish Chambers of Commerce in Hong-Kong, Philippines and China<\/strong> to the Federation.<\/p>\n At the same time, a seminar about the Company Internationalisation Fund<\/strong>, with the participation of the Chamber of Benelux<\/strong> was held, having as a main focus the different existing investment alternatives to support SMEs in the process of internationalisation.<\/p>\n Next on the agenda was a visit to Seville on the week of the 10th<\/sup> November, where our Secretary General attended a multilateral encounter hosted by the local Chamber of Commerce of Seville. <\/strong>The aim of this activity was to promote trade between both regions and explain the role the Spanish Chamber in Great Britain could play to support the process. To reflect on this, the visit concluded with the signing of a collaboration agreement between both institutions in order to strengthen business relations between the UK and Andalusia.<\/p>\n Our Secretary General, Igor Urra (first from the left), attending the event organised by the Chamber of Commerce of Seville to promote business relations between the UK and Andalusia<\/p><\/div>\n The event was organised<\/strong> in collaboration with the Council of Seville and the British Embassy<\/strong> in Madrid, which was represented by H.E.
