{"id":33731,"date":"2014-05-23T11:28:04","date_gmt":"2014-05-23T09:28:04","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/spanish.rberzal.com\/discover-the-new-flavours-of-la-tasca\/"},"modified":"2025-11-06T17:50:49","modified_gmt":"2025-11-06T16:50:49","slug":"discover-the-new-flavours-of-la-tasca","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/spanish.rberzal.com\/es\/discover-the-new-flavours-of-la-tasca\/","title":{"rendered":"Discover the New Flavours of La Tasca!"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>On Wednesday 14th May we celebrated the spring weather with an informal party at the Covent Garden restaurant of <a href=\"https:\/\/spanish.en-desarrollo.net\/users-93\"><strong>La Tasca<\/strong><\/a>, member of the Chamber.<\/p>\n<p>To kick off, guests were welcomed with a glass of refreshing Spanish sangria upon arrival and were then led to a private area within the three-floor restaurant for them to enjoy the evening. The event was the perfect opportunity for our members to taste the new tapas menu and discover the Covent Garden restaurant, which has been recently renovated.<\/p>\n<div id=\"attachment_1895\" style=\"width: 492px\" class=\"wp-caption aligncenter\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-1895\" class=\"wp-image-1895\" src=\"https:\/\/spanish.en-desarrollo.net\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/05\/img_2697.jpg\" alt=\"IMG_2697\" width=\"482\" height=\"361\" \/><p id=\"caption-attachment-1895\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">A glass of refreshing sangria awaited our attendees.<\/p><\/div>\n<p>Since it is well known that man does not live on tapas alone, La Tasca had a surprise in store. In fact, as soon as guests realised the tools to cook paella were laid out at the back of the room, they gathered with anticipation around the cooking area to find with delight that one of the chefs was getting ready to prepare this traditional Spanish recipe.<\/p>\n<div id=\"attachment_1896\" style=\"width: 470px\" class=\"wp-caption aligncenter\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-1896\" class=\"wp-image-1896\" src=\"https:\/\/spanish.en-desarrollo.net\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/05\/img_2708.jpg\" alt=\"IMG_2708\" width=\"460\" height=\"345\" \/><p id=\"caption-attachment-1896\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">The chef from La Tasca while cooking the tasteful paella.<\/p><\/div>\n<p>With the paella slowly cooking, our members chatted and enjoyed the relaxing environment over a glass of wine. And it did not stop there. At the beginning of the evening our guests had entered a prize draw and minutes before serving the paella, our Secretary General Igor Urra was in charge of announcing that Ms. Anna Wu and Ms. Susy Calleja, both from Meli\u00e1 White House, were the lucky winners of a dinner for two at La Tasca and a bottle of wine, respectively.<\/p>\n<div id=\"attachment_1894\" style=\"width: 470px\" class=\"wp-caption aligncenter\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-1894\" class=\"wp-image-1894\" src=\"https:\/\/spanish.en-desarrollo.net\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/05\/img_2753.jpg\" alt=\"IMG_2753\" width=\"460\" height=\"345\" \/><p id=\"caption-attachment-1894\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">The winners of the prize, Susy Calleja (L) and Ana Wu (R) from Meli\u00e1 White House with our Secretary General, Igor Urra.<\/p><\/div>\n<p>After the winners had been announced, the chef informed that the paella was ready and so guests made their way towards the cooking stand to have their share. Rounding off a perfect evening, attendees received a goodie bag which contained <em>piment\u00f3n de La Vera <\/em>and rice from Calasparra, two ingredients that would allow them to reproduce at home some of the recipes they tasted at the event.<\/p>\n<div id=\"attachment_1902\" style=\"width: 477px\" class=\"wp-caption aligncenter\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-1902\" class=\"wp-image-1902\" src=\"https:\/\/spanish.en-desarrollo.net\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/05\/img_2716.jpg\" alt=\"IMG_2716\" width=\"467\" height=\"350\" \/><p id=\"caption-attachment-1902\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">Attendees could enjoy drinks and tapas in a pleasant atmosphere.<\/p><\/div>\n<p>If this had not been enough La Tasca posted a Club Platinum Dining Card to all attendees after the event, which gives them a wide range of benefits as exclusive discounts at any La Tasca restaurant in the UK.<\/p>\n<p>We would very much like to thank everyone who joined and shared this evening with us.
